Howto Install telnet server with all dependencies

I installed linux in a virual machine using this OBE as a guide:
http://www.oracle.com/technology/obe/11gr1_db/install/oel5gainst/oel5gainst.htm

When trying to telnet into this VM machine I get an error.

I am not a linux guy yet :)

I need help for the next step. How does one install the software with all required dependencies. UP2DATE is not available for my learning vmware envirnonment.

[root@akaoradev-vm1 RPMS]# rpm -iv telnet-server*rpm
