Hallo,
I'm approaching to my first Oracle database upgrade from 11.2.0.1 to 11.2.0.4 I wish to proceed to a manual upgrade.
The very first step (after download and extract the zip files in a folder) is "install the software in a new oracle home"
I think the setup.exe to launch is the one in folder/database/setup.exe
the setup give me 3 choice:
- create and configure a new database
- install database software only
- upgrade a existing database
To create the new oracle home i just have to set the installation path to a different folder , isn't it?
