how to write code in WHEN-RADIO-CHANGED trigger?

Hi people,
I have created a radio group namely RG which contains two radio buttons.value of 1st button is 100 and 2nd button is 98.without the help of push button i need either value 100 or 98 should be inserted in a table.
just if i click the radio button itself the changes should happen in my table.can i
write the coding in WHEN-RADIO-CHANGED trigger?.is it correct?.if it is so can u suggest me how to accomplish this.since i have only little idea in forms i am unable to achieve this.hope ur suggestions would help me.thanku
