How to work with ADE in Jdeveloper

Hi
I am using jdev 11.1.1.2.0. I need to create/modify element/workspace/project etc from jdeveloper which needs to be source controlled in ADE.
I have downloaded ADE extension from jdev (check for updates) and installed in jdeveloper.
Now I can create view/transaction from jdev but further operation like creating workspace or check out /checkin specific file not able to do it.
All these operation I see is disabled in jdev.
Can some one provide me step/step instruction how to use ADE commands from jdev or please point me the url which has detail description about how to use ade command from jdeveloper.
