How to view spfile in ASM diskgroup while the database can’t be started?

Hi All,

We are in 10.2.0.3 and server is window 2003. And the init.ora file has one line in it “SPFILE='+DG_DATA/MITCH/spfileMITCH.ora'”.

One time I can’t start the database and got the error below. I googled it and it said if I can reduce large_pool_size or sga_target I should be able to start. But I need to know what in the spfile in order to create the new init file. So my question is how to view the content of a SPFILE saved in ASM diskgroup. All I did is looking into alert log to found the parameter values. But I am not sure if there is a better and surer way to get into SPFILE. Thanks in advance for your help,

Shirley
