How to view alert log?
jgarrySep 20 2011 — edited Sep 21 2011I tried clicking on the xml alert log, but it goes into IE and tells me "Cannot view xml input using xsl style sheet...Only one top level element allowed in an xml document". I don't see any adrci, and I can't find any text file alert log? trace directory only has files beginning with cdump. database and dbs directories don't have it. And nothing about it in the docs?
I hope I'm missing something obvious. The database is running. XP Pro SP3.
