How to vertically align report data

896215Nov 20 2011 — edited Nov 22 2011
Sorry if this has been answered before, I've read numerous threads on this, but I still haven't seen a simple answer. I am using Oracle APEX 4.1.0.00.32

I have a report designed in this way. On Page 0 there is a region from which the user can select a report. This region is on the left hand side. This then opens a different page depending on which report is selected. These pages have the region for the interactive report on the right hand side. So I end up with two regions side by side, and clicking on the report option on the left displays the appropriate report in the region next to it.

This all works fine but I cannot work out how to display the data in each report so that the cell contents are all aligned at the top, rather than being centred. I know that I need to somehow add the valign="top" attribute to all the TD cells, but adding that to the "Region HTML table cell attributes" has no effect - the attribute doesn't appear. I understand this is because I am not displaying regions in multiple columns.

I am happy to fix the issue after the page is rendered using Javascript but given that the HTML being generated is just something of the form <td align="left" headers="whatever"> , I don't have a simple hook into every cell.

Can anyone advise me of a simple solution to this problem?
