How to use tkprof on trace

I have strange problem. I have enabled trace on lasts long session and disabled trace after few minutes, I have explained this file and everything was ok, but I try do this again, so I reset the file (by shell command: >DBNAME_34453.trc) and started trace again (file was growing up) but tkprof does not work on this file this time. Why?
