How to use file link

Hai
I want to call a report from another one.And also I want to call a form from one report.

I think usage of "file link" is the solution.But I don't know how to use file link in reports. I am using oracle 10g.

Please help me by giving the steps for using file link. It is an urgent need.
I am looking forward for a timely reply.
