how to update database table from desktop Excel sheet

Hi,

This is Bala, I am working currently Apex5.0

I have table name called Employee in my apex database. Initially I have load the data using SQL Workshop manually.

Now I want do automatically.

Means: Employee Excel sheet available in C:\data.

So I want to update this excel sheet daily to my apex database automatically.

Please provide any idea to achieve this....,
