How to unit test oracle ADF application?

Dear Experts,

I spent a lot of time searching about how  to write and execute JUnit tests for testing my Oracle ADF application 12C.

I found some posts which explain this in ADF 11g but I can't apply it on my application because I using 12c version and I didn't use JUnit before with ADF. Kindly advise ?

I'm using Jdeveloper 12.2.1.2
