how to underline link in a column of classic repor?

Hi,

I need to underline links in a report column with css hover (mouse over) effect.

Column Formatting section of Report -> Report Attributes -> Column Attributes page has 'CSS Class' field. It doesn't work as suggested by Item Help. I can't find entered class name (e.g. fielddatabold) in the page source code. Is there other way to get the desired formatting?
