How to truncate and update the table values

Hi

Can any one suggest me if i have two tables T1 and T2 respectively on one server and i want to truncate the table T2 and update the truncated table T2 w.r.t the values of T1 then how can i achieve this ?

I need to schedule it on a periodic basis say a duration of 7 days
how can i achieve it?
