How to strip the signature part of an email while parsing

My application will be parsing those unread emails and will post the message part of the email to a report. While parsing the email, my code is reading the signature part of the email as well into the report. I don't want the signature part to be included. So Is there a way where I can strip the signature part of the email from writing to the report?. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance....
