How to stop the Indexpreferencestask ?

Hi, Every time I open the SQL Developer, the IndexPreferencesTask is running for a long, till the time it completes, I couldn't proceed for my work, It stops me to proceed with my work.

Strange, I couldn't a solution in the Google, Hahaha. Need your help.
