how to stop scheduler after recovery

Hi,

Once I restore the database from an RMAN cold backup and then startup the database, all the scheduler jobs that are due will start. This causes in our case a lot of issues.

Is there a way to prevent the scheduler from firing any jobs when I startup the database?

Oracle 10g R1.
