How to stop imp

Hi,
I launched imp to importe a table, actually enough rows are imported but in commande box of win2000pro where I issued imp commande , it does not go on and stopped on
import table xxxx
how can I stop import ?
Just ctrl+c, or kill, or something else ? What ?
Many thanks before.
PS : DB 9.2.0 on a windows 2000 sp3
