how to specify SFTP adaptor cipher to AES 256 ?

SFTP has been used successfully for several trading partners.
There is a new requirement to use AES 256 for the SFTP cipher for a new trading partner.
How can this be specified (B2B configuration) or at the Trading Partner and then confirmed with B2B logs that the B2B chooses the correct cipher ?
The transport settings have proxy, file name format, etc, but no cipher setting.
The current transport log (b2b_dc_transport.log) in DEBUG shows only the same parameters (proxy, file name format, etc) that are provided in the B2B UI.

So, how to determine which cipher(s) is currently used ?
And how to explicitly set a cipher for a transport server for a trading partner ?
