How to specify classpath on rmiregistry

I am trying to set the classpath on the rmiregistry in Unix.

The Sun documentation doesn't seem to be of much help.

could it something like?

rmiregistry -Jclasspath=<classpath>

or does registry use the CLASSPATH environment variable?

Any help would be very much appreciated.
