I am using the new column-level collation feature of Oracle 12.2. In SQL Developer 17.3.1 (and previous versions) I do not see the collation of columns in the table view. Also when adding or editing columns there is no input field for the collation. The only way to work with data-bound collation in SQL Developer seems to be plain SQL. Am I missing something? Do I have to activate a setting somewhere? Or is the SQL Developer software not up to date with the Oracle Database Server software?
