How to set up version migration process in DRM

User591477aApr 8 2015 — edited Apr 11 2015

Hi,

I want to set up a process for migrating a full Version from our Development environment to our User Acceptance Testing (UAT) environment, and again from UAT to Production.  All 3 DRM environments are in sync with regards to properties, node types, etc.

What is the best way to do this?  Should I set up a Version export, with the target being a server file?

If so, then I have a couple of questions:

1) How do I set up the connection?  I have found the correct area in DRM (Administer -> New -> External Connection), but I am not sure what settings I should select in the fields (Object Access, UNC Path).

2) How do I set up the export?  I can find the option to create a new Version export, but am unsure on some of the options.  In the columns tab, what should I select?  In the target tab, I assume I select the connection that I set up in step 1, but what about the other options, what should I select here?

3) What about the import?  I can't see an option for a Version import, so what settings will I need to choose for the import?

Any help would be much appreciated!
