How to set up ASM disk I/O scheduler to Deadline properly ?

User511360-OCMay 26 2015 — edited Jun 1 2015

Hi,

RAC 2 nodes, RHEL 5.10 Linux, 2 databases - old 10gR2 and newer 11gR2.

When running latest Oracheck utility, it says:

ASM Check: Linux Disk I/O Scheduler should be configured to Deadline (All ASM Instances)

I set it up under RedHat guidances (https://access.redhat.com/solutions/54164)

When running Orachk again, it says about warning again, so how must I configure this properly ?
