How to set the environment variables in Linux?

246911Jul 30 2002
Hi,

I'm having problems setting the environment variables for the report server.
When I use SHOWENV, i can see all the environment variables setting on the report server. But i can see that some of the environment variables like REPORTS60_PATH, REPORTS60_TMP, REPORTS60_CGIMAP showing undefined...

How to set this environment variables in Linux?
I try to use SETENV command to set it but it returns error. looks like the Linux OS can't recognize the SETENV command.

Can anyone help me on this?

Thanks in advance

Cheong
