How to set Japanese(Kanji) language in Toad or Sql*Plus

Hi,

We have a request to load japanese data for a client. When we do the sqlload using the UTF8 encoding the data does go in the staging tables. But the data when queried from Toad or Sql*Plus the data looks like this '¿¿¿_¿¿_¿¿'.

Can anyone please help us in doing the setup required to for Toad or Sql*Plus in order to see the data from Toad or Sql*Plus.
