How to set font-style for text area in apex.

Hi All,

I had created a text area in apex and now i am trying to chnage the font-style for that text area and i had applied here like this is this correct one or any suggestions on this.

--
HTML Form Element Attributes: style="font-family:Arial;font-style:Regular;
The apparoach is the right one or not.
