How to set default value for a radio button Item

Hi All,
I have a gantt chart in my home page of the application.so when i run the application .
I want my graph to be displayed some value.
Here I have two radio button name 1.APPLICATION
2.ENVIRONMENT

I have set the default value for the radio item( in the defalut section - APPLICATION)
Hence when i run the page i can see the radio button value is APPLICATION but the chart is displaying as Loading Data(chart is not working continuously loading )
When i changed the radio button to ENVIRONMENT ,chart is appearing.
Please help me to resolve this issue.
I created a demo in apex.oracle.com.
