How to set default columns width in Edit Table mode?

Blue BirdMar 10 2017

Hello,

I would like to check if other users notice/experience same behaviour In SQL Developer 4.1.5 in table design mode. When I select "Edit" button I see table columns definitions or over right click on table name and then "Edit...". At the moment when I design database I use this command frequently. Problem is when I switch into edit mode columns are too narrow. I see "..." at then end of a columns (see picture below).

1. Is it posible somehow set my columns width permanently? Whenever I close designer all my current width settings are lost. Always stretching columns to all visible field names again and again is very annoying. In data view mode you can click on any column name and select e.g. "Auto-fit All columns > Best Fit" and settings are remembered. Can you do that similarly in Edit table mode?

2. If I stretch e.g. 1st. column, right side columns doesn't move, like when you do the same in data view. Is possible to set same behaviour also here in design mode?

3. Below column names is split window (see picture above) with tabs Data Type, Constrains, etc. Initially this sub panel is always collapsed. Even when I drag it up, next time is hidden again. How can I set that will be always visible by default?
