How to select word by keyboard shortcut?

foxhoundDec 23 2021 — edited Dec 23 2021

In SQL Worksheet it is possible to select word by double mouse click on it. Then matching strings will be highlighted as a result. Besides that it allows quickly change the word. Is there any default or possible action to be set to select word by keyboard under the cursor - when it is at the beginning, inside or at the end of desired word? Can't see such an action in Preferences.
There are many use cases for it. Among others when 'ssf' code template is used then cursor is placed at the end just after the 'table' word. Then user would quickly select the word and replace it just by typing without need to move hand off the keyboard to mouse. In this particular case it would be possible just to modify the code template. But the main goal is to do as little customizations to the default environment as possible.
