how to run .sh file from terminal from any where from linux terminals?

Hi All,

I created one simple vmctl.sh script file to start servers. for this i created simple scripts.I am able to run from that location it self as ./vmctl.sh like that.
but i want to run this file simple any location of the system terminal from simple typing vmctl command to achieve this what are the steps i need to follow.
let me know its an urgent requirement.
