How to rollback a patch after removing .patch_storage?

Hi All,

I have a 11.2.0.1 database with 9655006 patch installed. After that the .patch_storage was removed in order to free some disk space.
Now I want to apply patch 9706490 which requires the previous one to be rolled-back. Since I don't have .patch_storage I cannot rollback the previous patch :(

How can I work around this issue? I tried re-applying the 9655006 patch using -force, option but it fails while trying to rollback the previous (same) patch.

The bottom line is I need 9706490 succesfully applied.

Any ideas?
