How To Restore DB.

I am very new to Oracle.

I have managed to Install 10g r2 on FC6

I have some sort of Back UP of DB, i have no idea how it was done or what type it is.
And no access to a server it used to run on.

all i have are bunch of files with no extension and one file with .f extension.

Please Help me restore this DB
any help would be appreciated
