How to resolve "scsi4(0:0):rejecting I/O to dead device" on CentOS 4.5 ??

581674Jul 27 2007 — edited Aug 2 2007
I am running CentOS 4.5 64-bit with kernel 2.6.9-55.EL on 2 AMD64 single CPU machines. The FireWire drive used is Western Digital 120 GB. Loaded modules ieee1394, sbp2 & ohci1394. Installed Oracle Clusterware 10.2.0.1 on both of these (pushing from node1). Everything worked fine & CRS was up (on both) for sometime. But, after sometime node1 (node2 is always fine) is evicted & starts rebooting. The /var/log/messages gives the following:
scsi4(0:0):rejecting I/O to dead device
Oracle CSSD failure: Rebooting for Cluster Integrity
And that's it -- no more message/explanation!
This is happening again & again and only on node (never on node2)!
Can somebody please tell me what needs to be done to find the problem & resolve it? I really need help on this.
Thanks a lot in advance.
