How to remove persistent settings?

I accidentally added a new channel to my persistent setting by running the configure channel 1 ...... command. I can't find a way to remove this from the persistent settings. I see the clear command but that just removes what the channel is set to. It doesn't remove the entire line. Is there a way to do this?
