How to remove "outdate java runtime environment" warning
843798Oct 18 2007 — edited Jun 24 2008I am using an application that requires an outdated JRE 1.5.0_11, since the new 1.5.0_12 is presenting problems. 1.6.0_2 is not working either.
But since 1.5.0_12 is around I am getting plugin warning popups telling me to install the latest 1.5.0 update (12 or 13). Strangely most of my colleagues do not get this popup...
The application also requires me to work with IE. I am using IE 7. I get the feeling that the IE Sun add in (svv.dll) is responsible for this warning, but where does it get its information?? And how can I get rid of the warning popup??
Unfortunately the application requires the add in and popup's not being blocked.
