How to reload regions after Javascript finished loading?

WodJan 5 2015 — edited Jan 5 2015

Hi Community,

I have got Javascript in the "Execute when Page Loads"-Section, which basically loads database content into Hidden Page Items (with some XML conversion).

These Hidden Page Items are part of the Source for my Graphs in Apex.

This works fine so far, my problem now is:

Since my Hidden Page items are filled on page load, I need to Submit (or refresh) my page again so that changes in these items will be displayed in my charts.

How do I avoid that?

thought of some possible solutions:

1. Refresh (dynamic action) my Graph-Regions automatically after the page has been loaded. Couldn't get this to work, tried the Events page load, before page submit, after refresh, page unload with the True-Action "Refresh" and Selection-Type "Region".

2. Let Graph-Region-load wait for the Javascript to finish. If this is possible, can you tell me how?

Sorry if this is already answered in another topic, couldn't find an answer. (Wasn't even sure about how to search for that topic)

Thanks in advance for any advice,

Thomas
