How to reduce Time To First Byte (TTFB)

Hello everyone.

I'm using jDev 12.1.3

We are trying in our application to analyze some performance issues.

When I click an action to go from page A to page B, the response was slow.

With firebug I noticed that:

Content Download takes 257 ms

Waiting TTFB takes 4.6 s

Is there a way to reduce the Time To First Byte (TTFB).

I must mention here that this result came from my Integrated WLS

Please for any advice!
