Is there a direct way of reading xls or xlsx file using pl/sql, I have checked many forums for this but did not find any direct answer for this. What i understood is converting excel file to csv file is only way around. But my doubt is when we can create excel file using utl_file then what is the issue in reading it from the same, at the end this excel file is a combination of xml file.
Please help me to find a way to read data from excel file using pl/sql.
