How to read MetaStock data?

hi. dukes.

i want to read MetaStcok data(i.e OHLC(Open High Low Close) parameter)
i found a site that provide java api( jcob.jar ) to do the above thing;
but i cant understand how it works.
so if u have any suggestion or any better tutorials
pls tell me.
