How to prounce regex?

I am reading a java book that talks about regex. It kinda bothers me that I am not sure if I pronounce it correctly or not.

For the first re is it prounce Ree or Ray?

Is it Ree- Jax or
Ray - Jax or
Ray - Guh - X or
Ray - Jix or
Ree - Jix ?
