how to protect INTERNAL and developer workspaces

sky123Jul 20 2007 — edited Jun 8 2009
Hi,

Is there any way that I can disable access to the INTERNAL workspace and developer workspace in the Extranet environment? I saw something like 'Disable administrative service" and "Disable workspace" when I login as "admin" to the INTERNAL workspace. What are they?

Second, do I need to encrypt the DADS.conf file in the file path under Oracle HTTP? Is the file secure in the Extranet environment?

Lastly, I already changed the "admin" password, which is now different from the password specified in the DADS.conf file. Does it mean that Oracle APEX will no longer use the password in the DADS.conf file to connect to the database?

Thanks.
Andy
