I originally thought that I had to create a csv and do an import to populate smart lists. Later I read that you can use dimensions to as the source for your smart lists. I assumed this meant that you dont have to manually create each smart list entry and that it picks this info up from the dimension itsefl. However, this is not working for me and I dont get any entries in the drop down of my test form. In short, how do I get my multi-level fund dimension to show the base members in my sample form's drop down. Following are the steps that I've performed so far.
- Created several layer fund dimension. I want the user to be able to select the base member. In this case, General Fund or Alias of 110.

- I made sure there was a smart list called Fund_list. This was created automatically by planning. Please note that I have not added any entries.

- Next, I set base member data type and smart lists properties to point to the "Fund_List" smart list. Saved changes and refreshed the application db.

- I then created a simple form and tried to use the drop down but dont get the 110 or general fund base member in the drop down. What am I missing?
