I would like to build a single report that allows users to run it with an option to either 'Use Cache' or 'Do Not Use Cache'. Ideally I would like the option available as a dashboard prompt, which users can select before they run the report. I suspect that the solution would work very similarly to how the variable DISABLE_CACHE_HIT=1; is set within the advanced properties of an analysis. By default the report will be configured to use BI Server Cache with a Persistence Time of 10 mins. If however the user decide to run the report real-time, i would like to present them with an option such that does something similar to 'DISABLE_CACHE_HIT=1;', without deleting any cache already build.
Stars, beers and hugs provided to anyone will to share some information on how to do this. To try and repay the person in advance, I can confirm that I've got OBIEE 11g working on IE11 in its new Enterprise Mode.
