How to open redirected page in insert Mode at press of a button

Hi can someone please help me , I am using Apex 5.

I have a parent child page and have created a 'Create Button ' on the child region which redirects to another page however it always opens in edit Mode.

I still want it to open in edit mode if the record is selected however I want to open in 'create mode' or 'new record' if I select the Create Button is selected.
