How to monitor Oracle Rest Data Services?

Saeed HassanpourJan 10 2017 — edited May 5 2017

Dear,

I have several services and I want to monitor all restful services like (EM) Enterprise manager is for databases so in order to when Restful services is stopped for any reason I notice . In Enterprise environment all services must be to up 24/7 so it can be to monitor all services.

In this case:

Oracle Database 11g

ORDS 3.0.9

Tomcat

In addition, I read https://community.oracle.com/message/13938592#13938592 , http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/articles/java/glassfishmm-2082439.html so it’s not good for some developers that don’t know about Java. I have never tested Puppet, Chef IT automation tools and I don’t know it’s good or easy work so we have to pay and use other tools.

Thanks for ORDS Team and I suggest that ORDS Team make an application standalone or API in database for monitoring generally and write a document or article about that.

Regards,

Saeed.
