How to modify /etc/syslong.conf for custom application logs in Solaris 10 ?
820693Dec 2 2010 — edited Dec 2 2010Is there a way we can send the application logs such as websphere logs to be put on /var/adm/messages? or /var/log/syslog.
Alternatively
is there a way to modify /etc/syslog.conf to include application logs such as websphere app server log location/path. Need some assitance with it.
We are trying to send all the logs to the QRADAR log server. We can update /etc/syslog.conf to send all the logs to the remote QRADAR server.
But application logs cannot be send that way. I am looking for ways to include app server logs to be sent to remote log server.
Any help or suggestions are appreciated.
