How to make backup for database from batch file

Dear All
I want to make backup for my database from using batch file but i face some problem like after i connect to the SQL PLUS from the patch file ((( sqlplus username/password as sysdba ))) then i want to shutdown the database from this batch to take a copy from the control file and the data file to take the backup so if you please send to me the syntax of the batch file which make backup offline
