We have Azure User Provisioning via SCIM populating basic information like Username, First and Last Name, Email and Fusion Job Roles into Oracle Fusion. We are leveraging the Oracle Fusion Applications Release 13 connector which has been working well for several months now.
To be able to leverage the approval flow we need to have the Employee set up in HCM. Once the user is provisioned, we have to login and manually create the New hire record in HCM. Oracle HCM is not our Human Capital System, so we are just setting up basic information for the user. We are setting Employee Number, Name, Email, Manager, Whether they have Approvals, Expense account, Department ID and Location. So just a few fields.
Once the HCM record is created, we then go into users and roles and link the records. We want to automate this process. Since User Provisioning is already happening from Azure/Entra, how can we extend this into the HCM module? We want the Azure/Entra as the source of truth.
