How to: Installing J2RE 1.4.2_10 as an update of J2RE 1.4.2_04 ?????

Hi ,

I have to install the new version of J2RE 1.4.2_10 on thousands of clients (Windows 2000 SP4) with an installed version of J2RE 1.4.2_04.

At the moment - when I install teh new version - i have the new one AND the old version on the system.

What I have to do that only the new version 1.4.2_10 is installed on each machine ?

Is it able to deinstall the older version by installing the new version in one step ?

I used the offline installation with the extracted msi-File, like this:

msiexec /i "Java 2 Runtime Environment, SE v1.4.2_09.msi" IEXPLORER=1 SDKSILENT=1 JAVAUPDATE=0 WEBSTARTICON=0 ALLUSERS=1

It is possible to install the new version and deinstall older versions in one step ?
