How to install SUNW developer packages?

I am new to using the Solaris operating system. I have a SPARC system running Solaris 9. I'm trying to figure out how to install the SUNW developer packages so that I can install gcc. I'm trying to follow the following guide.

I have the installation and software CD's. Let me know how to go about installing this software. Thanks.
