How to install Solaris 11 on SPARC T7-4 from USB Device?

DilliadisMay 30 2016 — edited Jun 1 2016

Hello people,

I have one big question.

I'm new engineer in Oracle SPARC server installation and was faced with problem in installation.

SPARC T7-4 doesn't have local CDROM. So I was decided to install from USB Flash. I created USB Flash Drive from USB Image (SPARC USB Text Installer (991 MB), which I found on the web site by address Oracle Solaris 11.3 Downloads - Installation from CD/DVD or USB.

I putted that stick to the servers usb port and found it from OBP using command

ok > show-disks

then I set them alias name and booted from that USB

ok > nvalias usbdev /pci@300/pci@0/.....

ok > boot usbdev

Installation of OS Solaris 11.3 was started but after installation I was got a message that "Installation was not complited"

and information from log file was next in attached file.

Please help me because I don't know what to do. Where i need to dig to find solution?

In addition

I updated FW till 9.5.4c. And I know that server support just solaris 11.3.

I create HW RAID1(mirror) through OBP on scsi devices.

But I can't understand how to detect that devices in OBP by their pass as one device-disk or as two separate disks?
